The Camirand Academy proudly announces the release of this fantastic new effect from the creative mind of France's Patrick Reymond.

At any time during his act, the magician removes a paper match from a book of matches and holds it at the tip of his right thumb and forefinger. A magical gesture is made with the left hand, and instantly the match bursts into flame!

Patrick uses this to lead into his famous Flamethrower (Flaming Matrix) effect. Alain Choquette used the effect to open a magic special on a Canadian television network. And note the following:

There are no chemicals involved - the effect is purely electronic. The simple act of raising your left arm (in a magical gesture) throws a gravity switch which will cause the match to ignite. It's that easy!
This does not have to be used as an opener. The gimmick is worn in the right sleeve and as long as the match is not inserted into the tiny holder, you can move around freely. The act of inserting the match activates the system. Remove the match (to blow it out), and the system goes up the sleeve!
It can be used in both platform and close-up conditions - when Alain performed it on television, the camera zoomed right in on his fingertips - the result was unbelievably magical!
